Some prey evolve such strong defense mechanisms that they become predators. Learning to use their temptingly inviting, innocuous presentation to their advantage, they lure their prey all the way in under the mistaken belief that they, the prey, are the predators. These entities become slyly lethal, not revealing their danger until it’s too late, the fatal blow having already been struck, their deceived stalkers not realizing the role reversal until they’re being fed upon.
